A team of improvisers perform every Sunday evening at Accidental Theatre, Shaftesbury Square. It's like 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' but more craic.

Follow 'Belfast Improv' on Facebook for details on shows.

What happens in an improv show?

In an improv show, a number of improvisers perform scenes together based on audience suggestions.

Most shows are a mixture of short scenes and games, not unlike 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?'; some shows also include longer sketches, which can last for 15-20 mins.

Where do these shows take place?

Our shows take place on the main stage at Accidental Theatre on Shaftesbury Square.

The shows start at 8pm and usually last about an hour, although we occasionally have special shows that last a little longer.

Will I be asked to join in?

Not unless you want to! The only thing we require of our audience is to provide the suggestions for our scenes.

If you'd like to give it a go, pop over to our classes page and have a look to see what improv is all about. Or just pop along to the show and speak to one of us!
